TagNova Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 13, 2026

Haemil Company values the privacy of users of the TagNova mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains the permissions used by the App, information processed on the device, advertising and payment processing, retention and deletion practices, and how to contact us.

1. Scope of this Privacy Policy

  • This Privacy Policy applies to the TagNova mobile application.
  • TagNova helps users recognize barcodes and QR codes, save or share generated results, and manage scan results and activity history on the device.
  • The App does not automatically transmit scan results, activity history, generated results, or app settings to the Operator's servers or to an external cloud service.

2. Operator and Contact Information

3. Permissions and Information Processed on the Device

  • a. Camera Permission: The App uses camera permission to recognize barcodes and QR codes. Scan results recognized through the camera are processed to provide the App's functionality and are not automatically transmitted to the Operator's servers.
  • b. Scan Results and Activity History: Scan results and activity history are stored on the user's device. The App does not automatically transmit or synchronize this information to the Operator's servers or to an external cloud service.
  • c. Generated Results, Saving and Sharing: Generated results or exported files may be saved on the user's device or shared with an external app or service selected by the user. Once the user chooses to share information, further processing is governed by the policies of the selected app or service.
  • d. App Settings: Settings selected by the user may be stored and processed on the user's device in order to provide functionality and convenience.

4. Advertising Services

  • The Free plan of the App displays bottom banner advertisements using Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Banner advertisements are not displayed when an ad-removal entitlement associated with a Plus purchase or Pro subscription is active.
  • The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process data such as IP address, app interaction information, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers (for example, advertising ID or app set ID) for purposes including ad delivery, ad measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. Such information is processed in accordance with Google's services and policies.
  • Google Mobile Ads SDK Data Disclosure

5. Purchases and Subscriptions

  • The App provides Plus one-time purchase and Pro subscription features through the Google Play billing system.
  • The Operator does not directly collect or store payment method information such as credit card numbers or bank account details. The App may check the status information necessary to determine purchases, subscriptions, and purchase restoration in order to apply the available features.

6. Automatic Transmission to Operator Servers

  • The Operator does not automatically collect or store the user's scan results, activity history, generated results, or app settings on the Operator's servers through the App.
  • However, Google may process information required to provide Google AdMob advertising or Google Play payment services. Information may also be transmitted to an external app or service selected by the user when the user initiates sharing or export.

7. Analytics and Crash Reporting Tools

  • The App does not use separate analytics or crash reporting SDKs such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or Sentry other than the Google Mobile Ads SDK used for advertising.

8. Retention and Deletion

  • App data such as scan results and activity history is stored on the user's device and may be removed by using deletion functions provided in the App, clearing the App's data through device settings, or uninstalling the App.
  • Files separately saved or shared by the user to device storage, a gallery, or another app may not be deleted merely by uninstalling the App and may need to be managed directly by the user in the relevant storage location or external service.
  • The Operator does not retain server-side copies of scan results or activity history. Retention and deletion of information processed by Google AdMob or Google Play are governed by the policies and user controls of the respective service provider.

9. Security of Information Processing

  • The App is designed around local processing and does not automatically transmit scan results or activity history to the Operator's servers. Where external services are used for advertising or payments, the security practices and policies provided by the respective service provider apply.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

  • If the content of this Privacy Policy changes due to changes in App functionality, permissions, advertising or payment services, the operator, or contact information, the updated content and effective date will be provided on this page.
