Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 13, 2026

Haemil Company sets out the terms and conditions for using the TagNova mobile application and related services. These Terms apply to the use of the TagNova Service.

1. Purpose and Scope

  • These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Operator and users in connection with the TagNova Service, including the use of the Service, paid products, purchases, and subscriptions.
  • These Terms apply to the TagNova mobile application, in-app purchases, subscriptions, and related notices and ancillary services.

2. Service Description

  • TagNova is a mobile application that provides barcode and QR code recognition, result viewing and management, saving or sharing features, and other convenience features.
  • The specific features of the Service may vary depending on the app version, operating environment, device specifications, policy changes, or service improvements.

3. Plans and Paid Products

  • TagNova offers Free, Plus, and Pro plans.
  • Free is the basic plan available at no charge, and advertisements may be displayed.
  • Plus is a one-time in-app purchase product. If a user has Plus or is using an active Pro subscription, ad-removal benefits are provided.
  • Pro is an auto-renewing subscription product. While Pro is active, users may use the Pro-eligible features and ad-removal benefits.
  • The actual price, currency, payment method, and applicable conditions for Plus and Pro, as well as the billing cycle for Pro, are determined by the information shown in the app and on the Google Play purchase screen at the time of purchase.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

  • Payments for Plus and Pro are processed through Google Play.
  • The Operator does not directly collect or store payment method information. Payment-related processing, confirmation, and management are handled according to Google Play procedures and policies.
  • Pro may automatically renew for the applicable billing period unless the user cancels it through Google Play.
  • Users may review, change, or cancel their subscription status through their Google Play account or the procedures provided by Google Play.
  • Deleting the app alone may not automatically cancel a Pro subscription.

5. Subscription Renewal, Cancellation, and Usage Rights

  • If Pro renews, Pro usage rights may continue for the relevant billing period.
  • If a user cancels Pro, the Pro rights may remain available until the end of the already paid billing period.
  • If Pro ends, Pro-eligible feature use ends. However, if the user owns Plus, the user may continue using the Service after Pro ends within the Plus usage scope available at that time.

6. Refunds and Payment Issues

  • Refunds, payment failures, duplicate charges, purchase restoration, and subscription-related issues are handled in accordance with applicable laws, Google Play policies, and the procedures provided by Google Play.
  • The Operator may provide guidance to the extent permitted by law and Google Play policies.
  • If a payment-related issue arises, users should first check Google Play customer support and the purchase management features.

7. Advertising and Service Changes

  • Free plan users may see advertisements. If a user has Plus or an active Pro subscription, ad-removal benefits are provided.
  • The Operator may change the Service's features, structure, display methods, advertising methods, or certain content for service operation, legal compliance, technical reasons, security, policy changes, or service improvement.
  • Where there is an important change, the Operator may provide notice through the Service, update notes, or a revision of these Terms.

8. User Obligations

  • Users must comply with applicable laws, these Terms, Google Play policies, and the guidance provided within the Service.
  • Users must not engage in conduct that interferes with the normal operation of the Service, infringes on others' rights, uses the Service unlawfully, or otherwise constitutes improper use.
  • Users are responsible for managing their accounts, devices, payment methods, and purchase-related information.

9. Scope of Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, and except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the Operator is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.
  • Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights granted to users under applicable law, consumer protection rules, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
  • The Service may be limited or changed due to the device environment, network conditions, Google Play policies, operating system changes, or the impact of third-party services.

10. Privacy

  • Personal data is handled under a separate TagNova Privacy Policy.
  • Please refer to the Privacy Policy first for matters concerning collection, use, retention, disclosure, security, and the exercise of data-related rights.

11. Changes to These Terms

  • The Operator may change these Terms in response to applicable laws, service operation needs, or policy changes.
  • The revised Terms apply from the notified effective date. Where applicable law requires separate consent from the user, that process will be followed.
  • If these Terms are changed, the Operator may notify users of the effective date, the reason for the change, and the main changes through the Service or a separate notice.

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
